"Ministry" is from the Greek word diakoneo, meaning "to serve". In the New Testament, ministry is seen as service to God and to other people in His name. Jesus provided the pattern for Christian ministry: He came, not to receive service, but to give it (See Matthew 20:28; Mark 10:45; John 13:1-17). The ministry team serves by meeting people's needs with love and humility, on Christ's behalf. They minister to others out of their devotion to Christ and their love for others, whether the other people are believers or unbelievers. Ministry to others should be impartial and unconditional, always seeking to help others as Jesus would. Rev. Don and Janet Peek
Bro and Sis Peek came on staff at Apostolic Tabernacle in January of 2006. They have been married 11 years and have four daughters. Bro and Sis Peek came from the nominal church world, ministering in many denominations through the years, until God revealed himself as the one true God they had been seeking after, but did not understand at that time who he really was, but praise God now, they know who Jesus is. They were baptized in Jesus name in May of 2001. Now they share with others the truth, One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism.
M.I.T- (MINISTER'S IN TRAINING) Rev. Scotty and Robin Troy
We were married in November 25, 1995. Before we received the Holy ghost in March 2006, we had no direction in life. We were searching for something to fill an empty place in our lives which the world could not fill. We tried what the world had to offer and yet still it gave us nothing. Then one day down a little gravel road, we were introduced to Jesus, then at that moment we knew we had found the answer. Living for God is the best thing we could ever be doing. We love to worship and lift Him up in praise and prayer. Because without Him we are nothing. As ministry we want to share the blessings of God with everyone and tell about ALL the great things He can do. Psalms 18:2 – The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God my strength, in whom, I will trust.
